Our e-learning modules

Digital privacy & security

We believe it's important to teach children and teenagers about data privacy and how to keep their personal information safe. In this module, they learn about the privacy laws companies must follow, the rights they have around their personal data, and how to keep themselves safe and secure — online and off.

Smart social media

Through this module, kids learn how to make smart decisions on social media. As well as giving them an understanding of the law around media and image sharing, it teaches them how to align the content they share with the type of person and athlete they want to be, taking a proactive, positive approach to protecting their online image.

Digital safety for parents

Our e-learning module for parents gives them a fundamental understanding of privacy and consent laws, enabling them to share children's information and content appropriately. It also teaches them how to balance protecting their children and teens online while allowing them the freedom and autonomy to make their own decisions.

Reasons to choose e-learning

01
Exceptional value

With e-learning, you can reach more kids for less. In-person sessions can be costly: the fees for a trainer (including travel expenses) add up quickly. When you multiply that fee by the number of groups you want to train, it can easily become cost-prohibitive. And if children (or adults!) lose focus during an in-person session, it's wasted money. E-learning modules are a cost-effective way of providing powerful educational content that can be revisited throughout the season.

02
Effective learning

Listening to someone speak isn't an effective approach for everyone. In fact, it's one of the least successful teaching methods for children. Even the most well-designed presentations are ineffective for children (and adults) living with disorders that impact learning styles, like ADHD and dyslexia. By providing interactive, thought-provoking content that you can pause, rewind, and re-read, you give them a real chance to learn in a no-pressure environment at a pace that's right for them.

03
Specialized content

Our e-learning content has been carefully crafted with junior athletes in mind. As well as teaching them the fundamentals of being safe and smart online, our lessons reinforce values of good sportsmanship: acting with integrity, consideration for others, accountability, and respect for yourself and your teammates.
Unlike presenters, who often offer the same content regardless of the audience, our lessons have been designed exclusively for your players.

How it works

Offering your players e-learning modules through Artemis couldn't be easier. We handle all the logistics of administering the courses, so there's no extra work for you to do.

  1. We handle the sign-up for each course, sending out a registration link via email for participants to self-register.

  2. We track progress as participants progress through the modules and report back to you on completion rates.

  3. When a participant successfully completes a module, they receive a certificate with your team name and logo.
